Caring Corporate Partner Award: Malley Industries
Our Caring Corporate Partner Award is awarded annually to a business that has made outstanding financial and/or in-kind, including volunteer, contributions to Ability New Brunswick over the last year. The recipient of our 2018-2019 award is Malley Industries.
Ability NB staff have long worked with Malley Industries to ensure our service participants could connect with their communities.
Malley Industries finds innovative solutions to complex needs when it comes to making a vehicle accessible and ensuring people can access to their communities. We are happy to work with such a responsive company here in New Brunswick that cares deeply about people living with a mobility disability.
In addition to being a reliable supplier to call, Malley Industries has supported us through sponsorship of our inaugural Wheelchair Challenge last year in Moncton and continues to support this initiative this year in Saint John. We were so pleased to see a huge conglomerate of their staff participate in the Challenge.
Malley Industries was also there for Ability NB when we were looking for partners to help us celebrate Disability Awareness Week when the Hon. Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Accessibility, talked about the impact of Canada’s first Accessibility legislation. It is wonderful involving Malley Industries in these important milestones.
